"Building Bridges Across Relationship Barriers"

Military Resources

"It is courage, courage, courage, that raises the blood of life to crimson splendor.  Live bravely and present a brave front to adversity."  Horace quotes (Ancient Roman Poet. 65 .BC-8 BC)

It isn't a lack of bravery or diligence.  It isn't a lack of strength or perseverance...it is facing an enemy that has become intrinsic and having the courage to fight with the most effective weapons.  Out of all the pages on this website, this is the most revered.  I salute our soldiers and hold them in the highest esteem.  I am a Captain in the California State Military Reserves (CSMR) and have had the privilege of working with some of the finest examples of patriotism through my role as a medical officer on the combat stress team.  This team provides clinical evaluation of our brave troops on their way to combat zones.  It is my intent to support those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the military.  With this in mind, I have compiled a list of resources for those who are returning from battle zones with pervasive, not pleasant memories.

                                                            Captain Garland Smith, CSMR
